If you have the time on your trip to Puerto Vallarta, go on the Pirates of the Bay tour. It’s great fun. One of the benefits of working with Cuponismo, which is one you’d be able to take advantage of if you’re simply following us, is that we get to take advantage of some great deals. One that we took advantage recently was a Pirates on the Bay trip around Puerto Vallarta. For our son’s 9th birthday, we took he and 6 of his friends on the Marigalante Pirate Ship, and it was a smashing success. My wife wrote about it as it made a great impression on her.
If you are looking for a fun-filled adventure for the whole family, look no further. Pirate Ship Vallarta was everything we had hoped for and much more. I have to admit, I had eight children with me under the ages age of nine, I was wondering how we were going to keep them captivated for the 7-hour journey. The day actually ended up flying by with one entertaining event after the next.. The day began with a basic breakfast in the galley, songs and games, sword fights and an interactive audience show. The highlight of the trip was the beach excursion side-trip to the beautifully pristine Majahuitas Beach, approximately 13 miles south of Puerto Vallarta.
Activities on the beach included snorkeling, banana boat rides, and a large fleet of sea kayaks. The event of the day for the kids was the treasure hunt on the beach. After a big lunch, there were more games and songs, a little dancing, and few humpback whale sightings.
I hope you can get an idea of the theatrics going on the boat, but it should be apparent that all the staff clearly love their job, and have a great time entertaining the people on the boat.
I have also had the pleasure of attending the evening adults only cruise. The show definitely had an adult flare with sexy pirates and silly games for the unsuspecting audience member selected to go on stage. Lots of dancing, free tropical drinks and a great acrobatics show. There is also a Canadian’s only night on Tuesday evenings.
I was told that there were a few walking the plank incidents during past shows.
